Airline Approved or not? (09/04)
| Can you tell me if the travel cage would be airline approved? Thanks, Beth O. | We have not yet sought approval from the airlines as we have just come out with the item. I must admit that we were more focusing on the day to day activities with the bird rather than airline traveling when we design this carrier. Although the carrier is compressible, it is a lot higher than say the other pet carriers that are airlines approved. As the space underneath the airplane seat is only 9" to 11" high, I think the shoe box shape plastic carrier (I have seen in the market) that allows the bird to stay low inside may be more suitable for airline travel. |
