Before we began building our own production team, we learned some valuable lessons in our dealings with factories we had contracted in China. We only accepted products that met our standards so there were some models that we had to reject after our quality assurance inspections. Now that we have our own crew of skilled tailors and craftsmen in place in Hong Kong, we are confident our guidelines and expectations will be consistently met so our products will be ready for market sooner. We are still working to resolve hurdles in timeliness and are making gains.
Meanwhile, an excellent idea from a customer, Arian W., was emailed to us after he ordered a Pak-o-Bird. He recommended that we give you, his fellow consumers, a look at how Celltei® products are made, what consideration has been put into them, and exactly what you are paying for. There is no secret about what we made but a sincere and responsible attitude and a dream that there is a reasonable living for all working diligently to make it possible.

A complicated product such as the Backpak-o-Pet requires more than 200 procedures to finish and allows as many chances to make mistake. Additionally, our customer base includes furs, feathers, and fins (perhaps) and with personality of a good child to the spoiled brat, it is almost impossible to understand their need completely and keep up with their demand. |
Alas, packing entails more than getting out a box, placing our merchandise inside, slapping a label on top, and waiting for UPS or FedEx to come pick it up. |
For us at Celltei®, the pet community and communication are inextricably linked. We've found pet owners to be among the chattiest people out there, perhaps even more so than parents with human children. |
Most of the materials used for luggage are synthetic (plastic) and ultimately petroleum based products. However small the effort, we would like to be responsible - to encourage environmentally sound application of materials and enable consumers to make an informed decision. We are building our professional knowledge and gradually absorbing the higher cost while keeping the business's going concern in mind. |
