Caique "Miley" and African Grey "Marcus"

"Marcus is our 23 year old African Grey that my husband has had since he was a teenager and Miley is our 2 1/2 year old Caique. There personalities could not be more different- she's playful, energetic, curious, and fearless; he's slighly neurotic, introverted, and very smart. This is definitely a one-sided friendship. Miley is infatuated with Marcus, and he doesn't want to have anything to do with her. She follows him around and will stand on the perch next to him and slowly inch closer and closer as he gets more and more upset. However, as much as he acts like he's way too cool for her, we'll catch them playing games together and she has really brought Marcus a lot of companionship. They make a great pair." ... Jill B.
