Our initial Pak-o-Pet (renamed Backpak-o-Pet) line offers a versatile design with a sporty appearance. By the fall of 2002, we had incorporated many customer feedbacks and further improved the Pak-o-Pet line. We consider it is with 95% completion. We were ready to address the demand for a more female oriented tote bag design. We launched a low price Basic Tote-o-Pet style with a slant mesh opening on one side (see left picture above). With a good market response, by the Spring of 2003, Angie was ready to roll out the full line - the Classic (conservative), Active (lively), Fantasia (creative combination) and Precious styles (luxurious) - but with an more balanced, refined and elegant shape. These drawing were put together for a trade show in July 2003. At the time, we could only "believe" we would find a new factory to make them as these handbag designs require the use of different fabric and material, different labor skill and machinery than the sports bag factory we had used before. The ambition to roll out the full line with challenging fabrics and materials was not matched with an acceptable products. In many ways, we were 'forced' to build our own production team (the production of Pak-o-Bird solified it). Luckily, we had found MR. Kwok and were able to convince him to take a chance on us. In a 200 square feet room in Hong Kong with a wall full of drawings borne this elegant line of pet carriers. The body of Tote-o-Pet is wider than an average tote but we want the pet to be able to move around at will. Because we don't want to compromise the structural integrity of this elegant shape, the Tote-o-Pet line is the most difficult line to make and requires highly skilled labors. Well, below are the original drawing of various styles. They are not too far off from what are being offered, aren't they?
