I got this pak for my two green cheek conures and it's great. The pak came pretty much assembled and was easy to set up. It's easy to carry and there's plenty of room for the two of them. I got the divider between the compartments because the two of them don't get along, but they still have enough space to be comfortable. This definitely makes taking the two of them much easier than carrying around two bulky carriers. I just took them out on a car ride earlier (there's a strap on the back that allows you to buckle the pak to the car seat which I love) and it went great! Really do love this pak, I think it was a good investment.
I have only had this out with my timneh and much smaller lesser jardine once, but it is clearly a superior product that will serve will for hikes and general transport of these birds. The overall quality exceeded my already high expectations. There is a 3rd party youtube video showing assembly of a single pac-o-bird that proved somewhat helpful. The included terse instructions included some steps that weren't needed since the pack came partly assembled. Pointers on how to get the middle divider neatly placed would have been welcome, but official and more detailed video would serve even better.
I have been a customer of Celltei bird carriers for over a decade now and have always been happy with my purchases for my various bird friends. My 2 African greys enjoy going to the hardware stores and other places that allow birds, but I had to take them in separate carriers because they tend to fight at times. I finally splurged and got the double medium Pak-o-Bird and am delighted with the product. It has the same high quality and functionality that Celltei is noted for, plus is much lighter than 2 carriers combined. My greys enjoy sitting next to each other and being able to see the other through the screen, but are more comfortable not having to interact. The carrier fits in a shopping cart sideways. It also fits in the back of my bike carrier (the kind with 2 wheels and an enclosure attached to the bike seat). The carrier comes with a shoulder strap (which is how I prefer to carry it), but also has sturdy shoulder straps and waist strap (if I were to go for a walk or hike). There are holes to connect a removable dish, and hole and hangers for attaching a bird water bottle with a spring that connects to the 2 d-rings (the water bottle is purchased separately, I think Celltei used to carry these). The carrier fits in the back seat of my car with the shoulder strap placed behind the headrest which holds it tight against the seat. There are two large panels in the back of the carrier for connecting a seat belt for extra security. The 2 perches included must be on different heights within the carrier (due to the center panel), but this works perfectly for my birds since one is a smaller dominant female and the larger is male. I am extremely happy with this purchse.
