Stories of Celltei

In 1999, Style Living Corp. was selected by our founder to pursue a business with products that enable people to "live in style,” regardless of changing and wavering trends.

During the first year, we sold a variety of products including elegant Ming-Style Chinese antiques, trendy novelty products, and cell phone accessories. The name Celltei® was originally trademarked for a line of cell phone accessories. The business shifting its focus onto products specifically for pets was incidental. See How Celltei started?.

The success of selling the first and only pet backpack design in 2001 gave us confidence. In the following year, we traveled extensively. We wanted to broaden our reach and receive feedback to understand the specificities of what pet owners wanted. We traveled to shows all over the US and Canada to introduce our products to the public. In order to develop the new designs, particularly models made for parrots, we decided to build our own factory in Hong Kong in the fall of 2003. Four years later, we renovated our Brooklyn office and started providing sale services and making the Celltei Paws design in the US. See The Seventh Year.  In 2010, we made the bold decision to relocate to a new establishment in Brooklyn. With every design and distribution element of the business under one roof, we continued to make original, unique and functional products. See The Tenth Year.
